Centre Stage is the company I formed on December 1986 as Command Performance.
In the early 90’s we changed our name to Centre Stage.
I am not a hairdresser and my main roles include running the business and all things administrative.
From a young age I always wanted to own and run my own business and it is a privilege to work with such a talented and professional team.
My role is to make sure the salon runs smoothly and efficiently and that staff are allocated the correct work load for their skills.
I also make sure client satisfaction is maintained and treatments are of a consistently high standard.
Starting as an apprentice I qualified in my NVQ 2 & 3.
I love doing all aspects of hairdressing and especially enjoy long hair dressing and wedding hair.
I love a buzzing busy column with varied clientele. In 2013 I also gained my assessor award.
I have been in the hairdressing industry for 22 years and with consistent training from Wella, mainly, I have extensive knowledge of colouring techniques and trends. I specialise in System Professional products and am part of the Training Team for our Apprentices,
I have a true passion for classic cutting, special occasion hair for weddings and proms.
I always work to the best of my ability and will continue to do so.
I joined the Centre Stage Team in 1996 and plan to be here for many more years to come!
Within those 22 years here I have so far qualified with my city and guilds level 1,2,3 and my A1 assessors award. I have had the privilege through the salon to achieve my Master Colour Award, Master Colour Specialist and Master Colour Expert with Wella.
I attend Wella’s world studios every year to keep up to date with everything new in Wella.
I am one of the Consultants in the salon and specialise in colour, I enjoy achieving the whole look with cutting and colour. I enjoy doing special occasion hair up and generally love to make other feel good about themselves.
I’m head of our Training Team, teaching the next generation the skills I’ve had the privilege to learn through Centre Stage.
I also help keep the rest of the Team updated with everything new in Wella. I am always wanting to learn and finding new ways to help other achieve the best out of themselves
I am NVQ level 2 qualified and my areas of expertise are cutting long and short hair and colouring.
My passion is short texturised hair styles and fashion colours that compliment the haircuts.
I enjoy working as part of the team and am always willing to learn new skills.
I love meeting new people and love a challenge.
I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing and like the variety of my job.
I have an NVQ level 2 qualification plus lots of experience and skills from in salon training.
I consider myself to be a friendly and approachable person with a patient manner.
I joined Centre Stage in June 2013, having already qualified in my NVQ level 1, 2, and 3.
